Hawk's Prairie Casino was the first ground up non-tribal casino built in Washington State.
The design program called for a "Pacific Northwest / Western Theme".
The areas of design responsibility for Lu were: theme development; interior design & specifications; lighting design both custom and standard; custom millwork design and specifications for entire interior; coordination with graphic designer and sign company for theme murals, branding logos, and exterior signage.
Lu was also contracted by the clients for project management and coordination of all interior elements he designed or specified.
This meant Lu worked with the building shell Architect, general contractor, sub-contractors, sign company, and graphic designer as the clients representative throughout the construction process.
Lu Designed and executed this project while he was Principal for Hospitality Facilities at Connell Design Group. |
