The design program was to create a modern, lively, and fresh space in the first floor of a multi-story condominium project.
Design features include: custom lighting design; unique "wave wall" feature; stained concrete floor; custom bamboo look bar die panels; and other custom features.

This project has special significance to Lu and his long standing (12 year) relationship with a very talented production artist named Don Kaump. Lu and Don have collaborated on many projects over the years. Lu specified custom bamboo motif panels for the sushi bar face.

This project was special to Lu because it was the last project he designed while still Principal for Hospitality Facilities at Connell Design Group and transitioning to his own design firm Lu S Design Associates.
