Q: DO YOU NEED A MENU TO DESIGN A RESTAURANT OR FOOD SERVICE FACILITY?

A: Yes a menu is the single most important item to have when meeting with a restaurant designer for the first time. A menu will set the tone for the type of food service equipment needed, the ambiance, feel, and style of the restaurant or food service facility, and the potential staff and seating requirements to support the menu and make the business profitable.

Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A HOSPITALITY DESIGNER?

A: Over 22 years

Q: WHAT TYPES OF HOSPITALITY PROJECTS HAVE YOU DESIGNED?

A: We have designed high end Hotels, Casinos (over 12), Restaurants (over 450), and food service facilities (over 1,200) for every style and ethnicity, Bars, Nightclubs, Corporate Cafeterias, Student Centers, and Private Clubs. 

Q: HOW DO YOU DETERMINE YOUR DESIGN FEES?

A: Every project is different. We first must meet with the client to define the project scope of work and what the clients vision, menu, and dreams are for there business. From this information we can develop a fee proposal for there project.

Q: WHAT AREAS OF THE COUNTRY DO YOU WORK IN?

A: We have designed projects all over the United States, Canada, and the orient.

Q: WHAT VERSION OF AUTO CAD DO YOU USE?

A: Release 2002

Q: WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST REWARDING PROJECTS?

A: The projects where the client is fully involved from the start and excited to create or improve there new or existing hospitality project.

Q: DO YOU DO HOURLY CONSULTING?

A: Yes we do hourly consulting, fee based consulting, task based consulting, we are very flexable when it comes to fee structuring. If you're interested in working with us, you can be sure we'll work something out that is fair to both parties.

Q: WHAT OTHER EXPENSES CAN I EXPECT?

A: First, you'll be glad to know we don't mark up outside services. So if you decide to use my recommended alliance partners, suppliers, and fabricators, you'll receive a bill only for the actual amount they charge. We see our contacts with alliance partners, fabricators, and suppliers as another value added service we provide to our clients. And we are happy to share them with our clients at cost. --- Now here are expenses you can anticipate: Travel, lodging, meals (if out of town project) mileage, printing services, site photos, postage, and overnite express.

Q: HOW DO YOU HANDLE OUT OF TOWN CONSULTATIONS OR VISITS?

A: If you are a prospective client and want to discuss our working together, I'll gladly talk with you by telephone or e-mail at no charge. If you want me to visit your office or job site out of the Washington or Oregon area. I'll ask you to pay my travel expenses and on-site fee, which varies depending on how long I stay.

Q: CAN WE WORK TOGETHER AT A DISTANCE?

A: Yes. Thanks to technology, we can live in one area of the country--and carry out your entire design program from our office. It makes no difference wheather you're across the street or across the country. Computers, Auto Cad, phone, fax, and e-mail have changed the way we do business. Now we can provide design services to clients in all parts of the United States or around the world without leaving our office, except for face-to-face client meetings, presentations, and job site visits.

Q: SHOULDN'T I HIRE A DESIGN FIRM NEAR MY PROJECT?

A: That depends on the value you attach to your project and your consultant's knowledge, skill, judgment, experience, and personal service -- compared with the value you get from working with someone close to home. --WE SPECIALIZE IN HOSPITALITY DESIGN SERVICES ONLY. WE WORK ONLY WITH HOSPITALITY BUSINESSES, AND WE WORK HARD TO GIVE YOU THE CARE AND ATTENTION YOU WANT AND DESERVE. -- WE CREATE CUSTOM DESIGN PROGRAMS FOR EACH OF OUR CLIENTS BASED ON THERE PARTICULAR WANTS, NEEDS AND PROBLEMS THEY NEED SOLVED. ITS THE ONLY METHOD WE RECOMMEND -- THE ONLY METHOD WE USE --BECAUSE IT'S THE ONLY METHOD THAT WE KNOW WORKS.
