This project was undertaken by LUSDA on October 9th 2009 and was completed and open for business on October 16th, 2010. The project was s joint effort of LUSDA, the Restaurant Client, The Building Owner, M2 Architects, DCI Structural Engineers, Scott Construction LLC, and a host of very talented trade sub-contractors. The project all inclusive cost was approx. $1.3 million.
LUSDA was the lead design firm and was responsible for all as-builting, interior & exterior space planning, all Interior and Exterior building Architectural changes and upgrades, all Interior Design, all Lighting Design both interior and exterior, all Theme Development, all Foodservice Planning for Kitchen, Bar, & service areas. LUSDA was also responsible for selecting the Architect, Structural Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, & General Contractor. LUSDA was responsible for acting as the Restaurant Clients agent during the bidding, value engineering, and construction phases of the project. LUSDA was even hired by the building owner to review all aspects of his scope of work that was all the building infrastructure, non-decorative lighting, most Interior Architectural building and Interior TI finishes, & coordination, communications, and punch lists with the General Contractor.

Trenching for new Plumbing, Drains, & Electrical. Note pallets of brick that were reclaimed for re-use during the interior demolition phase of the project. These brick were used both as whole units and as units cut in half for the extensive brick wainscot used throughout the projects interior features.
