The design was for the bar and kitchen for this historic building that had two upper floors before a fire destroyed them in the 1950's. It had originally been a bar only dating back to the 1900's
The Bar and Backbar are original and have been beautifully restored.
The design challenges were to incorporate new layout and equipment requirements into the existing refurbished antique Bar and Backbar.
Lu designed and executed this project while he was Principal for Hospitality Facilities at Connell Design Group.
